Ceremony and Reception: Hyatt Regency Newport Beach

Entertainment: Invisible Touch

Cake: Rockwell’s Creative Cakes

Jamie and I had a great time creating her color palette for the wedding. She knew she loved all shades of purple and deep burgundies. We went with aubergine, plum, merlot, beet, lavender and a touch of light cantaloupe for a contrast. At the reception the room was perfect for a combo of high and low centerpieces. The tall center was an arrangement atop a glass cylinder with a whole stem of dark almost eggplant cymbidium orchids submerged in water with smooth stones at the base. The low center was a glass cylinder as well, and we used dark green burgundy ti leafs wrapped around the inside of the glass. Flowers for the day were burgundy and plum cymbidium orchids, burgundy Singapore orchids, light lavender roses, dark purple roses, cantaloupe roses, and hanging red amaranthus.

The Grand

Ceremony: Christ Church Los Angeles

Reception: The Grand Long Beach

Nicole chose champagne, chocolate, mango and terracotta for her colors. Her bouquets were stunning with the rich and vibrant fall tones. We had some fun making a garland of bells of Ireland, roses, and orchids on a half wall that divided the upper level of the guest tables from the lower level dance floor. Her cake had very intricate scroll designs on it, so we dolled it up with a little organza fabric and a few petals for color at the base. Large glass square centerpieces filled to the rim with milva, circus and terracotta roses, bright orange lilies, green cymbidiums, dahlia, and coffee bean completed the tables.

Dove Canyon

Ceremony: St Pauls Greek Orthodox

Reception: Dove Canyon

Shades of green, white, pinks, and raspberry were the color combo chose for this event. When Katina came in to my office we spent most of our time talking about what shade of raspberry we were going to use. There are so many variations of dark pink, we had to be sure it was the right one. She was looking for a deep jewel tone raspberry, not fuchsia, and not into the burgundy tones either. After many rose books and pictures it came down to one. I get my product from all over the world, as many designers do here in the Los Angeles area. We are so fortunate to have an abundance of resources! The particular color, Senaa (is the name of the rose), is from a grower right here in Northern California. That is the deep rich dark rose you see in all the arrangements. Other flowers you see are light green/pink hydrangea, green cymbidium and dendrobium orchids, bells of Ireland, Esperance and Anna roses, and curly willow.
